Whether your youngest is headed off to college or you are a stay-at-home parent with children going to school during the day, “Back-to-School” means our routines change.  These changes can cause stress or anxiety in our pets.  They may do things or act in ways out of the normal.  The best way to manage this is to keep any routines, such as feeding times, the same.

Tucker loves spending a day at the park playing with his owners and socializing with the other dogs.

If you don’t have pets, you may feel a bit lonely.  One of our furry companions at Animal Services might be just what you need to cure those “Back-to-School Blues.” Our adoptable animals are looking for someone special to give them a forever home, so consider adding a new kiddo to the family this school year. These fur babies won’t outgrow their clothes, need new shoes, or money for college! Come down and check out the adoptable pets at 3120 Martin Way or visit the Joint Animal Services website.
