Looking for free fun for the whole family? Want to have family movie night under the stars for a change? Then Screen on the Green is for you! Join Tumwater Parks & Recreation for Screen on the Green outdoor movies, Friday evenings in August. This great community event is made possible by 2017 Series Sponsor Toyota of Olympia and individual movie sponsors (listed below).
Each August, Tumwater Parks and Recreation brings four movies to our outdoor cinema at the Tumwater Valley Golf Course (4611 Tumwater Valley Drive SE, Tumwater WA 98501). Movies are shown on Friday evenings in August. Movies begin at dusk; seating begins at 7:30 p.m. This event is fun for the whole family, and admission is FREE. Come early and enjoy dinner on the patio at the River’s Edge restaurant or bring your own picnic (just be aware that park rules apply). Bring along chairs and blankets but please leave your grills, umbrellas, and pets at home.
