The Oly Town Artesians are excited to announce that they will play their inaugural season in the Evergreen Premier League at The Evergreen State College. The Artesians will call Lower Geoduck Field, the field adjacent to their indoor home at The Pavilion, their home pitch. The field will provide a flexible and intimate fan experience that is unparalleled in the EPLWA and continues the relationship between Oly Town FC and The Evergreen State College.

“Evergreen has been a great host to the Artesians over the past two years,” said Artesians owner Tim Smith. “And I personally like the flexibility that an open field provides us.  We can put bleachers anywhere, add picnic tables, food trucks, maybe even a beer garden, all right next to the field.”

“Fan experience has been our focus since day one and that can be a challenge in a stadium setting. We will make attending an Artesians home game a fun and festive experience, in addition to providing the chance to watch the highest quality soccer Olympia has seen.”

Fans will have a variety of seating options at the field. Bleachers will be added to the field for traditional seating, there is a berm next to the field for fans to spread out on that will provide a great vantage point, there is an area for chairs and blankets directly next to the sideline, and a picnic area and potential beer garden behind the end line.

Players and officials will have access to The Pavilion for their changing areas and will have access to the field for training and warmups during inclement weather.

“The Evergreen State College is excited about the opportunity to host Oly Town FC on campus,” said Evergreen men’s soccer coach and Artesians advisor John Purtteman.  “The Artesians and Oly Town FC have done a great job of galvanizing supporters who appreciate both the quality talent, and the awesome fan experience.  The Evergreen State College is happy to have to opportunity to showcase their outstanding facilities and to host such a quality program and their followers.”

The Artesians have also announced their Well Heads Membership Program in advance of their 2017 outdoor season. For just $80, a membership will get fans one ticket to each of the seven home EPLWA matches, an exclusive Well Heads scarf of Artesians cap, a Well Heads exclusive mid-season BBQ with the team, a vote on the Well Heads MVP post season award, a reserved seating section for Well Heads, and other events and rewards throughout the season.  To join the Well Heads and be a part of this exciting inaugural season in the Evergreen Premier League, head to www.olytownfc.com/tickets.
