FirstLight HomeCare – South Sound has received both the 2017 Best of Home Care® – Provider of Choice and Employer of Choice Awards from Home Care Pulse.

2017_bohc_provider_of_choiceAs the only home care provider in Thurston County to receive either of these coveted awards, FirstLight HomeCare – South Sound, is now ranked among a small handful of home care providers across the country who have proven their ability to provide an exceptional working experience to employees and the highest quality care to clients, according to Aaron Marcum, CEO and founder of Home Care Pulse.

“We congratulate FirstLight HomeCare – South Sound on receiving both the Best of Home Care® – Provider of Choice Award and the Best of Home Care – Employer of Choice Award for 2017,” said Marcum. “Since these awards are based on real, unfiltered feedback from clients and caregivers, FirstLight HomeCare – South Sound has proven their dedication to providing a great work environment and solid training to employees, while maintaining their focus on client satisfaction. Marcum added that Home Care Pulse grants these awards, based on client and caregiver satisfaction scores, only to the top-ranking home care providers. FirstLight HomeCare – South Sound has received both the Best of Home Care® – Provider of Choice and Employer of Choice Awards for three straight years, 2015, 2016 and 2017.

“To have received both of these awards for three straight years is a wonderful testament to the dedication our caregivers have to provide the best care possible to our clients and their families,” said Sarah Lane, Owner of FirstLight HomeCare – South Sound.  “We are very proud of our reputation for having the best caregivers in senior care. The fact that we are the only provider in Thurston County to receive either of these honors is also extremely gratifying.  It’s independent confirmation that our clients and their families are pleased with the care they are receiving and that our caregivers feel supported and valued.”

Best of Home Care® award-winning providers are selected based upon feedback gathered by Home Care Pulse from clients and caregivers via live phone interviews each month. Because Home Care Pulse is an independent third-party company, they are able to collect honest and unbiased feedback. Provider of Choice award-winning providers have received the highest satisfaction scores in areas such as professionalism, compassion of caregivers, training, and client/caregiver compatibility throughout the year.

2017_bohc_employer_of_choice“Home Care Pulse arms consumers with information so that they can choose providers who deliver the best home care possible,” said Marcum. “FirstLight HomeCare – South Sound is a Best of Home Care® award-winning provider because they have built a team of happy, qualified caregivers who provide outstanding care for their clients.”
