The 44th Annual Olympia Harbor Days Tugboat Races and Festival will open Friday, September 1 running through Sunday, September 3, 2017. This Olympia favorite, located in downtown Olympia along the Waterfront, is a free community festival featuring a vintage tugboat show and races, arts & crafts, food, harbor tours, kids activities and live entertainment. More festival information can be found at www.HarborDays.com or on Facebook “Olympia Harbor Days”.
Olympia Harbor Days is now open for new vendors to apply for the 2017 festival and has booth space available for Food, Arts & Crafts and Commercial Vendors. There is also space for more children’s rides, activities and entertainment. Vendor registration forms are available on the website www.HarborDays.com. For advertising sponsor information contact Executive Director Carol Riley at info@HarborDays.com.
2017 plans include past favorites and will showcase the famous vintage tugboat show and races, the last of its kind in the Puget Sound. The historic steam ship, Virginia V, will be providing harbor tours and race viewing. Vintage Tugboats and other working or vintage boats are encouraged to register and attend.
The festival is presented by the Olympia Kiwanis Club, a non-profit community service organization focused on serving the children of the community since 1921. Donations to the festival help fund Kiwanis activities and keep the tugboats coming to Olympia.
