The Olympia-Lacey-Tumwater Visitor & Convention Bureau (OLTVCB) is excited to announce Jeff Bowe as the new director of sales.  Bowe will focus on driving conferences, meetings, tour and travel groups to the region with an emphasis on conferences related to beer, wine, spirits, agriculture, art and culture. “Jeff will focus on our region’s strengths to deliver groups that benefit from our tourism assets and deliver economic impact,” said Shauna Stewart, executive director of the OLTVCB. “Jeff’s wealth of knowledge in the industry and his track record of driving results are a great asset to the team.”

A 20-year industry veteran, Bowe has experience ranging from leading a team of sales professionals to hotel sales training. Most recently, Bowe worked at Hotel RL in Olympia as the director of sales overseeing all group and catering sales. Other positions include senior sales manager at the four-star Hotel Murano and tourism director for a national mall management company. Bowe is designated as a Certified Tour Professional (CTP) from the National Tour Association and has already hit the ground running, meeting with tour operators at a recent event in Seattle.

Bowe lives in Olympia with his wife and kids. On weekends, you can find him practicing his golf swing at a local golf course or visiting a pumpkin patch on the Thurston Bountiful Byway with his family.
