The City of Olympia requests the public’s help in choosing the designs that will decorate 10 lucky traffic boxes in West Olympia, and 10 in Downtown Olympia. The winning designs will be fabricated as vinyl wraps that will be applied to the boxes and remain in place for 2-3 years. Not only will the new traffic box wraps be great to look at, they will reduce the amount of graffiti on the traffic boxes and the maintenance hours required to remove it.
Voting will take place July 1-31 on the City’s Facebook page. You do not have to like our page to vote. Simply look through the Westside and Downtown Traffic Box Wrap Design albums and ‘like’ on any and all of those that you’d like to see as you travel through Olympia.
Not on Facebook? You can still vote in person at The Olympia Center, 222 Columbia St NW.
Winners will be announced at the City Council meeting on August 11, 2015, and wraps will be installed in October.
