senior nutrition HISCHome Instead Senior Care, serving the greater South Puget Sound region, is now offering a monthly family caregiver education series.   This family caregiver education series is designed to support you, the family caregiver, and will feature relevant issues such as sibling communication, seniors and nutrition, navigating the senior care maze, and seniors and cognitive issues. This family caregiver education series features a variety of topics that will help caregivers navigate the many issues that arise while caring for an older adult. The challenges faced by you, the family caregiver, can bring a sense of loss and depression, but, the agency is hopeful that through these classes, and maybe even with a little help from a Home Instead CAREGiver, family caregivers supporting loved ones will be able take comfort in the sense of support from their education, experience and service.

Each quarter, beginning in January 2015, Home Instead Senior Care will provide a once a month in-house program with timely relevant takeaways for you.  Each quarter Home Instead Senior Care will be posting NEW educational programs to our ThurstonTalk.com Calendar of Events and will provide a more detailed outline of the classes to come as well as what to expect for the next quarter following.
