arcadia drillingArcadia Drilling knows water. The Shelton based company has been in business for more than 35 years. Arcadia has installed wells throughout Washington State, from Forks to Walla Walla, including Thurston, Mason and Grays Harbor County.

Water seems pretty straightforward. All you do is turn a handle and out it comes. Consider this just one step, in a multi-step process.

Jason Zack, General Manager at Arcadia, will do his best to help you understand what it’s going to take to get water to your property, even before you purchase land.

Arcadia Drilling professionals can make constructing a new well very easy.

Chances are you know someone with an Arcadia well. However, the company isn’t just about drilling.  Pumps, tanks and filtration are major components of their work.

Monte A. Hicks supervises this side of Arcadia’s business. Hicks is passionate about water and what it means for people. “It’s very enjoyable to see if you can take whatever the problem is whether it’s brown water or smelly water or whatever people are nervous about and take that to bottled water quality.”

arcadia drillingHicks shows me around the office. Hidden in the back is a water testing lab. The tests run here are designed to pinpoint what’s in your water. Hicks breaks these potential hazards down into two categories: nuisance and safety. A nuisance issue is something like staining in the bathroom sink, or other undesirable things like smell or taste. A safety issue is a dangerous bacteria that can make you ill.

A quality filtration system can remove these contaminants from your water. It doesn’t matter if you have a well or get your water from a municipality. Many public water systems put chlorine in the water by design.  That chlorine stays in the water and eventually ends up in your body.

Arcadia wants you to know what’s in your water. That’s why they’re building a mobile water testing lab. The lab will soon be operational and visiting various communities across Western Washington.  “We’ll be taking this to different locations so people can bring us their water and we’ll test it free of charge,” says Zack.

The results will allow a person to make an informed decision as to their family’s water. The lab will also have filtration systems on display for demonstration and education.  Arcadia is committed to educating their customers to make good decisions and choose quality equipment.  As you will see in this demonstration trailer, the quality of Arcadia’s craftsmanship is unparalleled.

arcadia drillingOnce the water is clean it should stay that way with the proper care of the equipment. Arcadia offers a maintenance route to help ensure all of the pumps and filters are in good working order. Proper maintenance of your well equipment is essential for long-term dependability.  The skills of the Arcadia team have will make that possible.

Quality water is important. Arcadia understands this and wants the benefits to be shared by everyone. “When you get the water you’re confident in, you tend to drink more water and that makes you feel good as well as healthier,” says Hicks.
