Families are invited to attend the upcoming Lacey Family Fish-In on Saturday, April 19 at Long’s Pond, located at Woodland Creek Community Park, 6729 Pacific Avenue SE (at the site of the Lacey Community Center).
This event, designed to encourage fishing as a family activity, is for youth ages 5 to 14 years old. Volunteers will be onsite to help both beginner and experienced young anglers. Pre-registration is required with a completed registration form and $5 per youth participant and is accepted online, by phone, or in-person. The fee includes a rod and reel to keep. Please be advised that space is limited.
This family-fun event is offered in cooperation with Cabela’s, Capital City Bass Club, Puget Sound Anglers, Trout Unlimited, Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife, and Zebco.
