Clarus Optical Lacey waIn January 2014, Clarus Optical in Lacey, Washington was named as the National Transitions EyeCare Practice of the Year for 2013.  With over 35,000 qualifying practices throughout North America, Clarus received the top honor at the awards ceremony in Orlando, Florida.  “To be recognized nationally is a credit to the quality and dedication of our doctors, our staff and the hard work of our optical team at Clarus”, states Kimberly Manthe, Clarus Optical Administrator.

Criteria for judging included community involvement, patient care and education efforts.  Our larger Clarus family also extends beyond our practice walls. We demonstrate extra dedication to our patients and their families by having our staff members spend time out in the community at health fairs, golf outings and local charity fundraisers. We like to use these events to bring attention to eye health and let the community know we’re here to help.  Clarus also sponsors an annual event called “Cruisin for a Cure” which is a classic car and hot rod show that benefits the American Cancer Society, National Bone Marrow Registry drive and blood drive each August.  Clarus supports several military events each year, for example, Military Family Days and multiple Military Pampered Spouse activities.

Clarus Optical creates a caring environment for patients because our staff will take the time to listen and ask key questions to help us personalize their eyewear according to their visual needs.  At Clarus we are here to improve the quality of life of our patients by providing the finest eye care for people of all ages.  “It is an honor to be named as the leader in our industry and we will strive to continue to provide the highest quality of patient care and outstanding customer service as we have for over four decades.”
