Benson Vineyards Estate Winery is unique to Ralph’s and Bayview Thriftway this side of the mountains. Hailing from Chelan, owner Scott Benson has chosen the locally owned stores to exclusively showcase his estate wines west of the Cascades.
Rob Backman, Bayview’s Wine Manager, is an absolute Benson fan. He asserts “there’s nothing in my opinion that can even touch this (Benson) in volume and dollar. Our display gets filled every single day.” Backman is working on a deal to get Benson’s coveted Sangiovese/Cabernet blend, which regularly sells for $65 a bottle. He will be selling it for a wine lover’s steal at $19.99 a bottle. Other superior deals going on right now include the Nebbiolo and the Cabernets that regularly price out at $45 a bottle. These are being offered for a limited time at $19.99 per bottle.
Holiday revelers looking for some bubbly to celebrate the season will find several exquisite choices at unbelievable prices. Nicholas Feuillatte Champagne is on sale for $29.88 from $35.99. Backman says it sells like crazy, especially during the holidays. Another supremely great deal is Argyle, which Ralph’s sells at a steeply discounted price during the month of December.
Ralph’s and Bayview will be offering customers a chance to do some pre-holiday shopping and sampling at their annual holiday event, Taste the Holiday Spirit. Festivities take place on December 14 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Vendors and musicians will be on hand with sampling throughout the store, and all wines will be twenty percent off regular prices. All housewares will be 10% off as well.
With so many wines, twelve days doesn’t seem like much time to try them all. Fortunately the elves at Ralph’s and Bayview Thriftway will be working hard around the clock so that you can try something new at a delicious price all month long.
For more information on holiday selections, please stop by Ralph’s Thriftway at 1908 Fourth Avenue East or Bayview Thriftway at 516 West Fourth Avenue in downtown Olympia.
