Hartley Jewelers in Olympia is seeking a bench jeweler to join their team.

We spend so much time at our workplaces, they can feel like a second home.  So, most of us are looking for a job that has a supportive environment with creative and encouraging peers.  Joining Hartley Jewelers, a local family owned and operated business, is similar to becoming part of a supportive family.

Hartley Jewelers has been creating custom jewelry for 45 years and has earned a reputation as one of the best.  With a highly experienced design team and four seasoned and talented goldsmiths, Hartley’s is unique in its offerings.  “We don’t have anyone working on our team that has ever worked outside of the jewelry industry,” says co-owner, Linda Hartley. “They are all extremely talented individuals who we have searched for and are very proud to have found.”  Some employees have been with Hartley Jewelers for 20 years.  Their success is evident, and Hartley’s is looking to expand and hire additional Bench Jewelers.

According to Hartley’s Marketing Manager, Travis Thornton, finding the right person who will compliment the talented staff members is paramount.  “The person that best fits the ‘family’ must also have experience in bench jewelry. However, it is a broad field and we are flexibly able to fit them into our skill sets. Therefore, they can bring any ‘slice of the pie’ in terms of experience, and we will find them a place. They might be expert in repair, sizing, design, waxing, stone setting, restoration, or any other family of bench jewelry skills.”

Join a Talented Team

Hartley Jewelers, led by co-owner Rick Hartley, has assembled a talented group of professionals who have all made their careers in the jewelry industry. Their high-level expertise and professionalism is evident from the smallest repair to the most intricate heirloom restoration project.

Hartley Jewelers is looking for a full-time bench jeweler, someone who is highly self-managed and has both independent ambition as well as the diversity to work with many different types of people.  They would be supported by talented staff members who have a strong reputation for quality work and an uncommon depth of experience and knowledge in the jewelry industry.
