mr electricEver wish you could just pick up the phone and call a trusted friend or family member to come help you with your electrical dilemma?  Jim Simmons and the good people of Mr. Electric are the answer to your problem.   They may not be your relatives, but their number one goal is to provide the kind of personal service you would expect from a good friend or family member.

Mr. Electric is a full service electrical company.  Journey-level electricians are skilled in a wide variety of services including commercial, residential, remodeling, and retrofitting.  Generators are one of their specialties.  “There’s not a lot of businesses who do all of those things well, and we do,” says Jim.

Weekly training sessions are standard for Mr. Electric’s entire team, and they take each site visit very seriously.   The electricians are scrupulous about the work they perform, and they are just as meticulous about leaving each site in better condition than when they arrived.   Calls are answered 24 hours daily, 7 days each week by a live operator, and you will never be left wondering if your call was received or not.

“One of the things that is very unique about this area is that there are about 250,000 people total in Thurston County, but it’s still a small town.  If you do wonderful jobs for people it gets around,” explains owner Jim Simmons.  As a lifelong resident of the South Puget Sound area and an electrician since 1975, Jim is very connected to the people of this community.   In fact, 70 – 80 percent of Mr. Electric’s business comes from repeat customers and referrals from satisfied clients.

And if high quality service isn’t enough, then Mr. Electric’s commitment to this community is the icing on the cake.  Of the many local organizations that Mr. Electric is a member of, one that stands out is its’ involvement in “Rebuilding Together.”  The extra work is all volunteer, and Jim’s work family is happy to donate their hours and skills to helping others in the community.

Just last year Jim and his crew helped overhaul a dilapidated 800 square foot cabin for a family in a desperate situation.  “There are no words to express my appreciation for making my house a home again.  I was amazed with the coordination, the sincerity and kindness that the volunteers expressed while they were providing their field of expertise in the Rebuilding Together project,” exclaimed the Beck Family.

“This community has so much respect for Jim and it flows right down to his guys,” exclaims Office Manager Marie.  “These guys worked and carried everything through when he was out (with a health issue) and that’s teamwork!  (Jim) can hold a group together with respect and the community just loves him.”

A quick scroll down Angie’s List gives the impression that Mr. Electric’s customers have similar sentiments about the work they have received.  “I can’t say enough good things about the gentleman who came out to do the work.  They made the entire experience wonderful, I would highly recommend them,” says Rayma D. of Olympia.  “Very professional. Great experience overall,” says another happy customer Jeremy M.
