Make the short drive, just four miles south of Tumwater, to visit family-owned Lattin’s Country Cider Mill and Farm.
“We’ve been a farm here for 60 years,” says Carolyn Lattin, who owns Lattin’s Country Cider Mill and Farm with her daughters Debbie Lattin and Sherrie Kohlmann, “and we’ve been doing the farm stand for 37 years.
Arrive hungry. Lattin’s is famous for its apple fritters. Last year, they sold over 40,000 of the tasty treats.
Children can play a variety of games, feed the farm animals, and enjoy a train ride. While it’s a popular destination during Halloween, Lattin’s is a stop on many family’s agenda all year long.
