LACEY, WASHINGTON — Trick-or-treaters from the Saint Martin’s and greater South Sound community are invited to join University students on Saturday, October 27, from 1-4 p.m. for a trick-or-treating tour in Saint Martin’s Spangler Residence Hall. The trick-or-treating tour will begin and conclude in Spangler Hall lobby (building 15), at the Saint Martin’s Lacey campus, 5000 Abbey Way SE. Parking will be available to community guests in the Spangler parking lot (Lot I). Signs will direct guests to the event.
Student tour guides will lead children and their families through the residence halls to trick-or-treat at students’ rooms. In addition to a variety of sweets and candies for the trick-or-treaters, hot cocoa and cider will be provided. Costumes are encouraged.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to bring children to a warm, safe indoor environment,” says Ella Shepherd, residence director at Saint Martin’s. “Our students, in true Benedictine hospitality, look forward to this annual tradition.”
