Study Proves Private, In-Home Tutors Are Best Way To Learn

A recent study by the University of Chicago and Northwestern has found that private, in-home tutors are the most effective way to learn. The study compared small groups of students in a learning center, students in a classroom and students that received private, one-on-one, in-home tutoring. The study showed that mastery of a subject was found to occur in 20% of the students in a classroom setting, 70% in a group learning center setting, and 90% in the students who received private, one-on-one, in-home tutoring.

The study also showed that students who participated in private, personal, in-home tutoring spent more time on learning tasks due to lack of distractions. The study showed that in a classroom setting students spent 65% of their time learning. Small group learning center tutoring students spent 75% of their time learning, while students who received private, in-home tutors, spent 90% of their time actively learning.

This and other studies like it prove why it is so important for students to receive one-on-one, private, personalized, in-home tutoring. Club Z! has perfected the in-home tutoring model over the last 15 years and is now the World’s Largest private, in-home tutor provider.
