Sand in the City, lined up in the front yard of the New Hands On Children’s Museum, was a popular attraction in downtown Olympia this weekend. Fourteen teams created amazing sand sculptures. But, Sand in the City goes beyond a giant sand box. All proceeds raised go directly back to the community, supporting the Museum’s Free & Reduced Admissions programs.
