Twelve area high school students were awarded $1,000 scholarships by the Rotary Club of South Puget Sound.
Oakville High School:

Sidney L. Black* – plans to attend Central Washington University, education
Rochester High School:
Alicia Jazmin Gonzalez * – plans to attend Centralia College, communications
Rayne Dorsch * – plans to attend University of Nevada, Las Vegas, hospitality
New Market Skills Center:
Kaytlyn Pepe – plans to attend SPSCC then Bellevue College, diagnostic imaging
Rianne Smelser* – plans to attend Everest College, massage therapy
Lauren Gehrke – plans to attend Pacific Lutheran University, nursing
Steven Rounsley* – plans to attend Washington State University, enviromental
