Local Personal Training Business Keeps Environment Top of Mind

Olympia, WA – Rock Bottom Personal Training is a personal training service in Thurston County that is recognized by the color green – for two reasons. First, green is the company’s color. The trainers wear green, the business cards are green, they even have shirts that clients can purchase that are green. Second, they represent themselves as an eco-friendly business. Rock Bottom’s goal is to educate people how to live healthier lifestyles while contributing to a healthier planet.  They don’t use up energy in a facility; they don’t even have machines or expensive equipment that use hundreds of watts of electricity. Instead, they meet their clients out of the gym, whether it’s at their homes, offices or even local parks, and train them using mostly their own bodies, and sometimes what’s in their surroundings. This saves a lot of energy and cost for both the trainer, and the client.

“Our goal is to show our clients how to use what they have to be healthier without more cost to their wallets and the planet,” said Christe Smith, owner of Rock Bottom Personal Training. “We want people to realize that their body is their gym, and they don’t need to burn hundreds of watts of power on a large machine that will eventually end up in a landfill. All of our workouts are powered by our own personal energy. This keeps our costs low so we can provide professional personal training for a very low price.”

Rock Bottom Personal Training is Thurston County’s largest on-site personal training service. Rock Bottom offers a variety of one-on-one training services as well as group training sessions and various classes scheduled through Meetup.com. Rock Bottom does not bind clients to contracts or initiation fees.
