The first annual “Style for SafePlace” was held on Thursday, October 27 at the Heritage Room in downtown Olympia.  The festive evening was highlighted by a fabulous fashion show featuring CAbi designs brought by local CAbi rep, Melissa Haberman and accessories from Bon Lemon; Amy Evans, Proprietress.  The evening also included light appetizers, several fashion vendors, and raffle drawings with many fashionable prizes.  Mary Pontarolo, the Executive Director of SafePlace started the evening with a brief introduction to the mission of SafePlace.

SafePlace strives to put an end to all forms of violence with quality programs built on establishing respect for the individual and others.  Due to the special efforts of The Stars Foundation of Thurston County, 100% of all proceeds from last night’s event will be donated to SafePlace.
