Education experts from throughout the county will be participating in the 10th Annual Education Summit on Wednesday, September 14.

The evolution of education is occurring at a rapid pace. How public education is funded, greater responsibility by individuals to pay for education, the increasing role of private education, and the greater importance on community engagement with education will be the focus of the 10th annual Education Summit.

Hosted by the Thurston County Chamber, the event will begin at 11:30am at Saint Martin’s Norman Worthington Center. All community members are invited to attend.

Education leaders from throughout the county will focus on their mission of delivering high quality education services in a time of limited resources. Business has a major stake in the success of education ensuring future workers have the skills and expertise to grow our economy.

In addition to moderated discussion there will be a mini education trade show for educators to connect with the Forum attendees.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to engage leaders in education. General admission is $30, prepaid Chamber members are $20, and members at the door are $25. Reservations are requested and strongly advised at ThurstonChamber.com or 360.357.3362.
