Abbey Road is a Georgia-based band that started on their path to fame by playing songs from the Abbey Road album. Wednesday July 20th: This Wednesday night at 6:30PM, the Olympia Film Society (Capitol Theater, 206 5th Ave SE, Olympia 98501) presents Alfred Hitchcock’s iconic film, “Psycho.” “Psycho,” tells the story of Marion Crane who, in an attempt to start a new life with her lover Sam, embezzles $40,000 dollars from her employer and drives to Arizona. On the way, she stops at the Bates Hotel for the night where she is brutally murdered by a faceless figure in the famous “shower scene.” What transpires afterwards is the desperate attempts of the local law enforcement to nab the killer.

Thursday July 21st and Friday July 22nd: Theater Artists Olympia is proud to present David Mamet’s Oleanna this week at the Olympia Little Theater (1925 Miller Street Olympia, WA 98501). A Pulitzer Prize winner, Oleanna is David Mamet’s most controversial drama. The story centers around a college professor (Christian Carvajal) and his female student (Deya Ozburn) who become entangled in a fiery verbal war that takes a turn for the worse.
