ELMA, WA, JULY 14, 2011: RETC at Satsop is excited to announce that the US Navy Seals will be launching a training exercise at the Satsop Business Park the night of July 21 through the early morning of July 22, 2011. A helicopter will release an estimated 30 troops to the ground at approximately 10:00 pm for a several hour exercise which will conclude at approximately 2:00 am the morning of the 22nd when the helicopter will return to pick up the troops.

The Satsop Business Park is pleased to see an increase in the use of the park by the United States military for instructional maneuvers as the unfinished nuclear power plant and surrounding forest areas lend itself well to a training ground for a variety of exercises and scenarios.
