Baked Goods, Preserved Foods and Honey Entries due Monday, August 1st

Anyone who has a special recipe for baked goods, or has preserved food or honey they would like to enter into the fair to be judged is encouraged to bring them in Monday, August 1st.  Enter yeast or quick breads, cakes, cookies, candies, or pies.  There is a special category for goods made with honey; Special prizes will be awarded by the Olympia Bee Keepers Association for these entries.

Preserved foods such as canned fruits and vegetables, pickles, sauces, vinegars, meats, and dehydrated foods can be entered from 3:00 – 7:00 pm Monday, August 1st.

 

All Open Class Baking, Food Preservation and Honey entries for the 2011 Thurston County Fair are due Monday, August 1st between 3:00-7:00 pm to the Heritage Hall building at the fairgrounds. NO LATE ENTRIES will be accepted. If you have any questions please call the Fair Office at (360) 786-5453.
