Saturday June 25th: Prepare for a night of incredible musical entertainment with the acclaimed artist Charley Pride! Pride will be performing at the Little Creek Resort (91 W. State Route 108 Shelton, WA 98584) at 8PM this Saturday evening. He currently has thirty-six number one hit singles such as, “All I Have to Offer (Is Me),” and has remained one of the top twenty country artists of all time. To enjoy an evening with Charley Pride, you must be twenty-one ears old or older. Tickets range between $30-$50, to purchase your tickets please call (360) 432-7300.
Saturday June 25th: If you are, or know, any teens that could use a Saturday away from a computer screen, tell them about Games Unplugged at the Yelm Timberland Library (210 Prairie Park St SE Yelm, WA 98597). There will be board games, role-playing games, and popular collectible card games to play all starting at 12PM. Then, if you are an anime lover, make sure to stay after for the Anime Club that will go until 4PM.
Saturday June 25th and Sunday June 26th: A taste of Broadway is coming to the Washington Center for the Performing Arts (512 Washington Street Olympia, WA 98501). Debbi’s Dance and PAAWW presents, “Give My Regards to Broadway,” a show stopping performance featuring favorite Broadway show tunes, and acrobatic, tap, ballet, hip hop and jazz dance numbers! Tickets cost $10 for general admission, and $16 for reserved seats, but don’t forget that the Washington Center also charges an extra $2.50 service fee on top of ticket prices. Tickets are available at the Washington Center box office, or Applause Dancewear.
Sunday June 26th: Get ready to rumble this Sunday as Mustangs West presents a Teddy Bear Picnic! Bring some sack lunches and peruse some of the areas best Ford Mustangs. The best part is, to participate you only need to bring a brand new teddy bear along with you! All of the teddy bears will be donated to St. Peter’s hospital for the kids, so come on out, show your support, and enjoy all of the great cars.
