18TH AVENUE PAVING – MONDAY, JANUARY 3, 2011
On Monday, January 3, Lakeside Industries plans to complete asphalt paving of the sanitary sewer trenches on 18th Avenue from Boulevard Road to Craig Street. Once the paving is completed, the roadway will have a smooth driving road surface. This work is weather dependent. If weather causes delay of paving on Monday, the contractor may be able to pave on Tuesday January 4.
Traffic Impacts
- Lakeside will begin paving at 8:00 a.m. We expect paving to take 6-8 hours to complete.
- Traffic will be allowed through when possible, however expect significant traffic delays.
- Access to all side streets and driveways may be limited during paving operations.
- There will be high levels of vibration and noise during this work.
- Motorists should use alternate routes or avoid the area if possible.
