Hello South Sound Swimmers!
And by swimmers, I mean anyone who loves water; being in it, or near it. We would like to introduce you to “Just Keep Swimming”, your new premier full service swim shop in the greater Olympia area. We are excited to get started serving you and all your swimming needs. We are here for everyone, those who are learning how to swim, those who swim competitively and those who enjoy water recreationally. All ages, stages and sizes.
First, let me introduce who we are. Jeff and Suzanne Pearson are a husband and wife team.
Suzanne grew up swimming competitively in Tacoma, WA. She swam age group swim team, high school swim team, league water polo, collegiate swim team and masters swimming. Swimming is truly a lifelong sport! In addition to being a swimmer, she has completed several triathlons, taught swim lessons from infants to adults, and coached age group, high school and masters swim teams. She spent many years as a personal trainer, aerobics instructor and triathlon club organizer and coach.
She is currently a high school math teacher, mother of 11 year old twins and a 3 month old.
Jeff fell in love with the sport watching his daughter compete over the last couple of years. He was impressed by the commitment and spunk swim team kids show through all of their hard work. Traveling to meets and long days at the pool either makes us crazy or totally devoted to the sport. After spending 18 years as a glazier, Jeff decided he wanted his work to be closer to home and serving the people of South Sound area. Together, with Jeff’s sales and management experience and Suzanne’s swimming experience, they decided that the greater Olympia area needed a full service swim shop….so was born “Just Keep Swimming”.
Our mission is to be the premier full service swim shop in Thurston and surrounding Counties. We will do this by providing products and services to our customers through the integration of motivated and educated employees and high quality products. We are here to meet the needs of all swimmers from infants to seniors; the competitive swimmers to the recreational water lover. Our focus is on community involvement and education. We believe that as a community surrounded by water, being able to swim is an important and lifesaving skill.
Being part of the Olympia community as a coach, a swimmer and now that our daughter is swimming competitively we have seen first hand that the equipment needs of the south sound swimmers were not being met. We would like to work with our community to see that our swimmers have access to all the swim wear and equipment that they will need to fulfill their swimming goals.
We opened our store at 3413 Capitol Blvd SE Tumwater, WA, 2 doors down from South Sound Running, the 16th of Aug. We are really enjoying meeting all the swimmers and coaches out there. We are excited to be serving our community.
Coaches and team Equipment Managers: We would like to come meet you and work with you to get what you need for your swimmers. We would love the opportunity to bring samples and sizing suits to make sure your swimmers are getting what they need. When your orders arrive, we will deliver them to your team! We can do custom suits, caps, warm ups, bags etc….…. let us know what you need and we will do our best to accommodate those needs. We know how busy swimming can get. You need to focus on the goals in the pool and let us provide the tools you need to reach your goals.
