Experience a working oyster farm with Capitol Land Trust! Join us as we tour the Henderson Inlet Community Shellfish Farm to learn the history of shellfish growing in the area, the effects on water quality, the impacts of community partnerships and what shellfish are grown and how to harvest them. Hands on participation is encouraged! Capitol Land Trust will elaborate on the effects of conservation on water quality and will point out the conserved lands across the way that have been protected by Capitol Land Trust.
