The Olympia Gold and Treasure Show

This two day event held at the Thurston County Fairgrounds on June 20 & 21 9 will have real modern gold miners and suppliers. It will feature gold prospecting equipment dealers and running displays of actual mining equipment. Come learn about modern day gold mining and get the gear you need to start finding your own Gold! Learn how to pan for gold and buy your own rich pay dirt. Listen to guest speakers and enjoy great food. There will be drawings for great prizes and a metal detector hunt. There is something for the whole family. Admission is only $5 each and kids under 13 are free.

Modern day gold prospectors share many values in common with their pioneer counterparts. They enjoy a love for the outdoors, self-sufficiency, adventure and a strong desire to strike it rich! They also have the benefit of modern technology and vast database of historical information and science.
