The 36th Chamber of Shaolin is the unquestioned masterpiece of the great director and fight choreographer Lau Kar-leung, and arguably the greatest martial-arts film of all time. Gordon Liu became a star as San Te, a young rebel against the oppressive Manchu government who flees to the sanctuary of the Shaolin Temple. For the next several years, he masters his fighting skills under the monks’ punishing regimen so that he may return to the world for some well-earned payback. 36th Chamber is a pure old-school martial arts movie, beloved by aficionados, that also appeals to non-fans simply as a rousing action film. Don’t miss this special one-time screening!

Tickets are available online and at the box office, open 30 minutes prior to show time. The theater is located at 206 5th Avenue SE in Downtown Olympia.
