The South Puget Sound Community College Drama Program presents “The Skin of Our Teeth” this March at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts. The three-act play centers on a family and their lives, but in three very different contexts: The Ice Age, modern times, and in the future.

Following the Antrobus family of fictional Excelsior, New Jersey, the comedy (with some dramatic undertones) deals with themes of human advancement and overcoming adversity. And like life itself, the themes are repetitive and perpetual. The play was originally written in 1942 by Thornton Wilder.

The play runs March 6-8 and again March 12-15 at the Minnaert Center Black Box Theater. March 6-7 and 12-14 begin at 7:30 p.m., while the March 8 and 15 performances begin at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 for general admission, and the play is free to all SPSCC students, staff and faculty. The March 12 performance will be a pay-what-you-can night. Tickets will be available at OlyTix.org. More information will be available online at spscc.edu/entertainment.
