As part of The Evergreen State College’s annual Memorial Day recognition, Portland-based photographer Jim Lommasson will be speaking about his work with American veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan, and his exhibit currently on display at Galerie Fotoland, Exit Wounds: Soldiers’ Stories – Life after Iraq and Afghanistan. Veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan are invited to bring their wartime photographs to add to the exhibit. All are welcome to bring lunch to eat during the talk – refreshments will be served after.

After the talk, attendees are invited to view the exhibit and speak with Lommasson about his work. Books will be available for purchase. This is one of two events to recognize veterans who have perished in service to our country as well as those who have returned home from war.
