As part of the celebration of the Holidays, the Olympia Poetry Network invites those attending Season’s Readings in December to bring a CHILDREN’S POETRY BOOK to donate to children in our area. Book should be unwrapped and can be for any age of child from babies through teens.
Season’s Readings is set for Wednesday, December 17, 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Traditions Café on 5th Ave. in downtown Olympia. Members of the OPN Board will share favorite winter and holiday poems. Those attending may sign up to read at the Open Mic. They are also encouraged to read either their own or a favorite poet’s work on this theme. The event is free.
