Olympia Family Theater is excited to kick of our 10^th Mainstage with Mercy Watson to the Rescue. Filled with colorful characters, inadvertent heroism, and silly antics, this is the stage adaptation of the wildly popular chapter book series by Newberry Medal winning author Kate DiCamillo.

Welcome to the neighborhood! Join the Watson’s for breakfast with their adorable pig named Mercy (whom they call their porcine wonder). Mercy loves making new friends, driving cars, going trick-or-treating, and a good chase, but above all else, Mercy loves buttered toast! Unfortunately one of her new neighbors is not fond of Mercy and calls in Animal Control officer Francine Poulet who hilariously bungles all attempts to capture the pig. Audiences will laugh and cheer with Mercy when she accidentally becomes the hero of this adventure while evading Francine and obsessively searching for toast…and butter. You’re sure to go home and sleep sweet dreams cinnamon toast dance Mercy’s happy toast dance the next morning when the toaster pops. Just how far will this mischievous pig and you go on your quest for more toast?
