We are looking for a few more folks interested in becoming Nisqually Stream Stewards!

When- Tuesday evenings, 6-8:30 pm and 5 Saturdays, August 4- September 26th

Who– people interested in learning the history and ecology of the Nisqually Watershed, and improving the health of our watershed.

What– We provide 40 hours of instruction. In return, you volunteer 40 hours with community organizations such as Nisqually Land Trust, Nisqually Indian Tribe, NW Trek, Nisqually River Education Project and more.

Volunteer Opportunities include:

  • Tree planting projects
  • Salmon Watcher training
  • NatureMapping
  • Salmon carcass tossing
  • Nisqually Land Trust site stewards
  • Leading student field trips
  • and more!
