The Thurston/Santo Tomás Sister County Association supports projects in Santo Tomás, Nicaragua such as a college scholarship program, small public library, and a free children’s lunch program. Lincoln Elementary also has a sister school connection with Escuela Rubén Darío in Santo Tomás. Come spend an evening with our visitors Yuri, Aminta, Cesar, and Temla who engage with these projects as students, educators, and community organizers.
Please bring a potluck dish to share at this all ages event. There will be alcohol available to the 21+ crowd. The $5-10 suggested donation at the door will support the great work being done by our Nicaraguan Neighbors.
