The community is invited to celebrate and experience the sights, sounds, and cultures from around the world at Lacey’s Ethnic Celebration on Saturday, February 13, at Saint Martin’s Marcus Pavilion and Worthington Center. This free event begins at 10:00 a.m., with entertainment, displays, and activities continuing through 6:00 p.m.

Three stages of ongoing dancers, drummers, and bands will total 20 performances throughout the day. Over 50 booths, including food and craft vendors, resource booths, and hands-on children’s activities can be expected. Live demonstrations are scheduled throughout the day in the Worthington Center, including topics like Origami, Drums of West Africa, and Bonsai, as well as a few food demonstrations.

Back this year is the Passport Activity for children. The first 500 kids to ‘complete their passport’ by visiting various ‘countries’ will receive a prize! Passports will be available in the lobby while supplies last.
