Community members are invited to the unveiling of sign painter Ira Coyne’s latest work, a sign that will grace the entrance of the Olympia Timberland Library. The ceremony will be at the library, Monday, April 27, from 10:45 to 11 a.m. Refreshments will be served.

Coyne, who has made some of Olympia’s most notable signs, says he believes that “handmade objects are the roots of all forms of love and we should give them to each other more often.” He was featured in the 2013 documentary film and book, “Sign Painters.” Examples of Coyne’s work can be seen on his website.
