• The 3 typical responses to the experience of living with dementia and how care partners can make respectful and effective choices that set everyone up for a positive journey.
• To discern what is normal or not normal in aging due to health conditions or the onset of dementia.
• About right and left brain function and the impact this has on communication, caregiving, comprehension of speech and language ability.
Video Presentation by Teepa Snow, MS,OTR/L, FAOTA: Teepa is a dementia-care education specialist with a background in occupational therapy and over 30 years in clinical practice. She has worked in a variety of settings, with a variety of people. She does a special kind of experiential training called multi-model learning. She helps people go from what they think they know about dementia to greater awareness.
