Breaking Bard Part 2
Saturday January 31st, Sunday February 1st
10am-5pm with lunch break from 1-2

This 2-day workshop will guide students through the process of building a vital, connected, and personalized Shakespearean performance by building upon what we learned in Part 1. The first day will be a deep study of the history and context of our example text, Macbeth, and follow with a dramaturgical scouring of the play for comprehension and clarity. The second day will be an intense on-our-feet scene study focused on bridging the actors’ personal passions with the beauty of the ancient text.

This Workshop Series is appropriate for all skill levels

Limit 20 participants
