This weekend is the Arts Olympia’s annual Art Show and Sale!
“Perspectives 2012” is a 3-day art event at the State Capitol Museum Coach House that will feature works of 35 professional and emerging member-artists. Their artwork promises to immerse your senses in a mix of creativity and color!
This year, Olympia Mayor Stephen Buxbaum kicks off the Arts Olympia’s Art Show and Sale Opening Reception at 5pm; music by keyboardist Charlie Keck follows. Saturday, Feb. 11 enjoy great art, coffee by Batdorf and Bronson, and treats from the Bearded Lady 10-5pm, plus a special 1pm presentation by local art critic Alec Clayton. Sunday enjoy art 11-4pm, tea by The Tea Lady, and a live poetry event at 1pm. Space in the historic Coach House at 211 West 21st Avenue is limited, so plan to go early!
