The Evergreen Gallery proudly presents for the first time, a major exhibition of the college’s Andy Warhol Photography Collection, alongside some of Evergreen’s greatest works by major photographic artists of the 20th century.
A companion exhibition in Galerie Fotoland, Dorothea Lange: Washington, features depression era portraits taken in Thurston County, and other areas of Washington. Lange worked as a staff photographer for the Farm Security Administration, and is best known for Migrant Mother. Though her Washington images are less familiar, they represent some of her most powerful work. Galerie Fotoland is located in the library 1st floor lobby, one floor down from The Surface.
