The Bush Archaeological Field School of The Evergreen State  College is again offering public tours this summer, beginning August 17th! Visitors can expect to learn about the importance of the George and Isabella Bush Homestead, founded in the mid-1800’s, and the history of economy and settlement in the southern Puget Sound. They will also be able to observe archaeologists in action, and kids can even try their own hand at archaeological excavation! Please come join us and bring  your families. Details and tour dates and times, as well as directions, can be found here

The tours this year will be offered August 17th, 18th,  22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, and the 29th from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. A new tour starts every half hour. Please bring your kids, bring your neighbors, bring your History Club, bring everyone and help us recognize this piece of our state’s history.
