The Adopt-A-Pet dog shelter invites the community to enjoy a bit of summer fun for a good cause.
What could be better than helping shelter dogs by enjoying tasty frozen yogurt on a summer evening? Join them June 30 from 5-9 PM at Limeberry Frozen Yogurt at 1110 College Street in Lacey. Grab a cup, choose your favorite flavors and pile on the toppings. Twenty percent of the proceeds go to Adopt-A-Pet. Shelter volunteers will be on hand to provide information on their operations and to share in the fun.
Adopt-a-Pet is an all-volunteer, non-profit dog shelter in Mason County. In 2015, the team cared for and found loving homes for 323 unwanted, abandoned and abused dogs. They also provide spay/neuter assistance, emergency veterinary care funds and dog food for those in need.
