This summer at Evergreen, The Fine Art of Hand Animated Film class taught by Devon Damonte, have been working on some camera less direct animation films on 16 mm and 35 mm film.

We use different techniques to animate by working directly on the film strip!  Scratching, bleaching, drawing and more. Some are abstract and some with characters. These projects have wonderful concepts and are rich with patterns and textures.
