The Thurston Economic Development Council is pleased to announce the finalists for the upcoming Business Recognition Awards. This is the 29th year the Thurston EDC will host the awards, which honors the achievements of local businesses in four distinct categories: New Business, Small Business, Corporate Employer and Non-Profit.
- Finalists in the New Business category include The Blend Café, Forza Coffee and Washington Wellness Center;
- Small Business finalists are ECHO Energy, LLC, Merle Norman Cosmetics, Wigs and Day Spa; and R.H.D Enterprises.
- Corporate Employer finalists are Capital Medical Center; Lacey Learning Center; and Sunset Air, Inc.
- Non-profit of the Year finalists include Homeless Backpacks; Washington Center for the Performing Arts; and Washington Future Business Leaders of America.
