Salmon, Shellfish, and StewardshipThis year, pink salmon returned to the Nisqually River in record numbers which both thrilled and troubled experts.  This miraculous population surge may, in fact, be an indication that Puget Sound is not healthy.  On Monday, April 21, join Commissioner Romero and her guest, Nisqually Indian Tribe Director of Natural Resources David Troutt, for coffee, and learn about some of the research projects and habitat restoration efforts happening throughout Puget Sound.
