In 1973, Washington State University Extension faculty began training volunteers to serve as WSU Master Gardeners. Little did these staff members know their efforts would launch a Master Gardener movement that would spread across the nation and world. On Monday, September 22, join Commissioner Romero and her guest, WSU Extension Thurston County Master Gardener Program Manager Cori Carlton, for coffee, and learn about this unique program.
