South of the Sound Community Farm Land Trust
South of the Sound Community Farm Land Trust will host its 4th annual Farms Forever Dinner to benefit their work to preserve farmland in the South Sound area.
Farms Forever features a local dinner prepared by local chefs with food from small farms in Thurston County, seafood from Taylor Shellfish and salmon from the Chehalis Tribe. There will be a silent auction with dozens of food and farm related items, bluegrass music from the Pine Hearts, and beverages from Whitewood Cider Co., Three Magnets Brewery and Stottle Winery. Tickets are $50 for members of the Farm Land Trust, and $60 for non-members. The ticket price increases to $75 after Labor Day. Details and ticket information can be found at www.farmsforever.org.
